Detailed Itinerary: Day 01: Arrival - Srinagar Airport Arrival on Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to Houseboat. After freshup,(if time permitted us) can move out for local sight seeing (Can proceed to famous Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visiting Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jehangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa) Or Dal Ride. Overnight in Houseboat. Day 02: Srinagar - Gulmarg – Srinagar After breakfast leave for day excursion to Gulmarg (App. 65 Kms). Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall. And turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car (optional) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. Evening return back to Srinagar, check in Hotel. Day 03: Srinagar - Pahalgam After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (App. 95 Kms) via saffron fields, sun temple etc. Full day in Pahalgam to explore the natural surroundings. One can hire pony to visit Baisaran, Kashmir valley, Daban. Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar. Day 04: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar After breakfast leave for day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. Overnight stay in hotel in Srinagar. Day 05: After Breakfast we will take you for Local sightseening in Srinagar, of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (the Garden of pleasure) built by Asif shah in 1636 and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jahangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan in 1619 , Chesmashshi ,Botnical garden and Historical Places like Hazratbal,Jamia Masjid,Shankaracharya Temple,one hour shikara ride, over night stay at Srinagar Hotel. Day 06: Srinagar – Airport After breakfast at hotel then drive towards Airport for onward destination with sweet holiday memories. It is not final itenery above,stay may at pahalgam or Gulmarg.
